CHARITY PARTNERS PROGRAM
The KPCM is excited to announce the launch of its highly successful Charity Partners Program for 2010! In this program, non-profit organizations from across Colorado use the Kaiser Permanente Colfax Marathon, Half Marathon and Marathon team-relay as a fundraising, visibility and team-building tool.

It is simple: Charity Partners agree to register runners/walkers (and/or provide volunteers) for the marathon, half marathon or relay and then build a fundraising campaign around those highly visible participants. In 2009, 24 Charity Partners collectively raised over $135,000 to further their organizational missions.

Benefits of Becoming a Charity Partner

Fundraising:

- Access to a broad base of potential supporters, using a proven fundraising platform that you do not have to originate.

- Retain 100% of funds raised, less any runner registration and transaction fees you incur.

- Design your own fundraising campaign. It may be simple (give once) or more complex (create web-based fundraising sites for individual runners or relay teams). Use your own fundraising platform or an electronic fundraising tool, made available through the Kaiser Permanente Colfax Marathon (KPCM).
Visibility:

- Broaden your visibility and support base through the KPCM website.

- Showcase your organization and its services at the Health and Fitness Expo.  (discounted fee)

- Expand your visibility on race day by providing race day shirts and caps to your runners.

Support:

- Provide a way for your supporters to run, walk or volunteer for a cause they already believe in.

- Provide another way to thank your contributors by offering incentives and finish line benefits.

- Create a team-building opportunity or fun internal challenge to form relay teams.
